About this role

Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Grafana BYOC and Federal Cloud, deployment options for organizations that cannot use standard multi-tenant SaaS due to compliance, data, or cost constraints. Adapt Grafana Cloud capabilities to these environments and help determine future deployment models.

About the company

Grafana Labs builds open-source and commercial observability tools for metrics, logs, and traces, centered on Grafana dashboards. It helps teams monitor infrastructure and applications and investigate incidents.

What you'll do

  • Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap for BYOC and Federal Cloud
  • Own product positioning, messaging, differentiation, and go-to-market collaboration
  • Partner with Engineering and Technical Program Management on delivery, balancing customer timelines and engineering capacity
  • Work with customers, prospects, field teams, partners, resellers, and analysts on deployment options
  • Coordinate with Security, Compliance, and Legal on product changes affecting authorizations or customer commitments

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years of technical B2B product management experience, or a technical background with demonstrated product ownership
  • Hands-on experience with non-standard SaaS deployment models such as self-managed, air-gapped, sovereign, BYOC, single-tenant, or FedRAMP
  • Experience with cloud infrastructure, platform software, or developer tools
  • Strong product and go-to-market judgment, including product positioning and sales strategy
  • Interest in US public sector customers and their needs and buying cycles
  • Ability to lead across teams without direct authority and communicate effectively in a distributed organization

Nice to have

  • Experience with US government customers or highly regulated industries
  • Familiarity with government or sovereign cloud frameworks and offerings
  • Experience with pricing and packaging across deployment models
  • Experience with observability, monitoring, or data-intensive infrastructure products
  • Experience working with resellers, systems integrators, or cloud marketplaces
  • Familiarity with open-source software or commercial open-source companies

Benefits

  • Restricted Stock Units (RSUs)
  • 30 days of annual leave, including three Grafana Shutdown Days
  • In-person onboarding
