Stack

What you'll do

• Design, build, deploy, and operate systems supporting Firefox engineering
• Contribute to developer tooling, CI/CD, workflow automation, and AI-assisted development tools
• Solve complex problems across software, cloud, and operations, improving reliability, performance, observability, and cost efficiency
• Use telemetry, metrics, and data analysis to investigate issues and guide decisions
• Contribute to architecture and technical strategy, identifying solutions that can be reused across teams
• Contribute to the open-source ecosystem

What we're looking for

• Strong software engineering skills and substantial experience deploying and operating production systems
• Programming experience in Python or JavaScript/TypeScript
• Experience building and operating production systems in cloud environments and using infrastructure as code
• Experience in several areas such as CI/CD, containers and orchestration, networking, databases, observability, or developer tooling
• Experience using data, telemetry, and metrics to investigate technical problems

Nice to have

• C++ or Rust experience
• Familiarity with modern AI-assisted development tools and their capabilities, limitations, and appropriate use
