Stack

What you'll do

• Design, build, deploy, and operate systems supporting Firefox engineering
• Develop and improve developer tooling, CI/CD, workflow automation, and AI-assisted development tools
• Own complex problems across software, cloud, and operations, improving reliability, performance, observability, and cost efficiency
• Use telemetry, metrics, and data analysis to investigate issues and guide decisions
• Collaborate across engineering, Cloud Engineering, and IT; contribute to architecture and technical strategy

What we're looking for

• Strong software engineering skills and substantial experience operating production systems
• Programming experience with Python or JavaScript/TypeScript
• Experience building, deploying, and operating production systems in cloud environments
• Experience with infrastructure as code, such as Terraform
• Experience in several areas such as CI/CD, containers and orchestration, networking, databases, observability, or developer tooling
• Use data, telemetry, and metrics to investigate problems and make decisions
• Familiarity with modern AI-assisted development tools and their appropriate use

• Experience with C++ or Rust
