What you'll do
- Own and improve the service storing user progress, guides, and survey data.
- Lead strategic cross-team initiatives and turn unclear requirements into technical designs and delivery plans.
- Deliver projects across infrastructure, backend services, JavaScript guides, and the React-based editor.
- Participate in on-call support and troubleshoot issues across client and server systems.
- Mentor engineers and improve code review and engineering workflows.
- Use AI tools in engineering work and help develop customer-facing AI features.
What we're looking for
- Experience designing, building, and operating complex backend systems in production.
- Ability to lead architecture decisions, write design documents, and explain trade-offs.
- Experience shipping frontend work in JavaScript; React is preferred.
- Fluent English for technical collaboration and documentation with US-based teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
Nice to have
- Experience migrating a legacy service to a new technology stack.
- Experience with in-app guidance, survey products, or real-time client-side experiences.
