What you'll do
- Set the strategy and architecture for the agent platform and its reliability and scalability.
- Build AI infrastructure, including LLM and MCP gateways with guardrails, fallbacks, and cost controls.
- Develop agents and workflows that automate engineering and business work.
- Lead developer infrastructure and tools that improve builder productivity.
- Define agent best practices, enablement, and adoption across the organization.
- Measure platform usage, reliability, cost, and productivity impact.
- Translate internal customer-zero learnings into product requirements and open-source contributions.
- Mentor engineers and participate in on-call while reducing operational burden.
What we're looking for
- Track record leading production-quality internal platforms or developer tooling.
- Experience with agentic coding tools such as Codex or Claude Code and driving their adoption.
- Proficiency in Go, TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, Java, or a comparable language.
- Experience architecting workflow automation or internal tools used across teams.
- Strong judgment balancing standardization, flexibility, reliability, security, and maintainability.
- Ability to lead cross-functional work and turn ambiguous needs into scalable solutions.
- Use data and qualitative feedback to define success metrics and prioritize.
- Clear written communication and documentation skills.
