Staff Software Engineer, Firefox Enterprise

Provide technical leadership for Firefox Enterprise services and infrastructure. Improve security and usability for large deployments through administration and monitoring tools, and strengthen Firefox’s integration with remote services.

What you'll do

• Develop administration and monitoring tools for large Firefox deployments
• Improve Firefox functionality through integration with remote services
• Recommend priorities that support the team and product roadmap
• Provide technical leadership and collaborate with a geographically distributed team

What we're looking for

• 8+ years of professional software development experience
• Experience building robust services using modern best practices
• Strong fundamentals in modularity, abstraction, data structures, and algorithms
• Proficiency in Rust and JavaScript
• Understanding of SQL and/or non-relational databases
• Strong communication and experience working effectively on distributed teams
• Pragmatic approach to trade-offs, safeguards, and delivery timelines

Nice to have

• Front-end development experience
• Kubernetes experience
• OIDC/OAuth2 experience
• Successful contributions to open-source projects
