Staff Software Engineer, Firefox Enterprise

Provide technical leadership for services and infrastructure that support Firefox Enterprise deployments. Build administration, monitoring, and remote-service integrations that improve Firefox’s usability and security in large organizations.

Stack

What you'll do

• Build administration and monitoring tools for large Firefox deployments
• Improve Firefox functionality through integration with remote services
• Recommend priorities that support the team and product roadmap
• Collaborate with a geographically distributed development team

What we're looking for

• 8+ years of professional software development experience
• Experience building robust services using modern best practices
• Strong fundamentals in modularity, abstraction, data structures, and algorithms
• Proficiency in Rust and JavaScript
• Understanding of SQL and/or non-relational databases
• Excellent communication and experience working on distributed teams
• Pragmatic judgment about trade-offs, safeguards, and delivery timelines

Nice to have

• Front-end development experience
• Kubernetes experience
• OIDC/OAuth2 experience
• Successful contributions to open-source projects
