Staff Software Engineer, Fullstack (Account Management)

Account Management team within Trust & Safety, part of Affirm’s Checkout organization.

What you'll do

• Set the team’s technical strategy and connect it to business-impacting projects.
• Collaborate with product, design, and analytics throughout product development.
• Define and advocate for technical solutions and operational processes.
• Own monitoring, on-call readiness, triage, playbooks, testing, and alerting.
• Establish code review and design standards; share guidance through writing and tech talks.
• Develop team members through feedback and technical leadership.

What we're looking for

• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proficiency designing, developing, and launching scalable backend systems.
• Proficiency building web apps with declarative UI frameworks.
• Experience planning and delivering major features, system components, or deprecations.
• Strong coding, communication, collaboration, and feedback skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
