Support Engineer (APAC - Weekends)

About this role

Provide developer support to Supabase users across technical and business questions, helping resolve issues quickly. The role is full-time and covers four 10-hour shifts from Friday through Monday during APAC hours.

What you'll do

• Respond promptly to support cases covering billing, pre-sales, optimization, and implementation questions.
• Triage cases by sharing documentation, code examples, and prior answers or escalating them to relevant teams.
• Monitor GitHub Issues, Discussions, and other feedback channels.
• Identify tooling improvements that could make support more efficient.
• Reproduce issues and contribute test cases or test coverage when appropriate.

What we're looking for

• At least 3 years of experience providing developer support to technical customers.
• Proficient in SQL, ideally PostgreSQL, and comfortable with complex queries.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Skilled with Linux/Unix systems and the command line.
• Experience with GitHub Issues and Discussions.
• Available for four 10-hour weekend-covering shifts during 00:00–10:00 UTC.

Nice to have

• Database administration experience.
• Familiarity with React, Vue, or Svelte and some Node.js experience.
• A degree in Computer Science.
