TA Operations Associate

About this role

A six-month fixed-term role supporting Payward’s global talent acquisition operations. The associate will coordinate hiring activities from interview scheduling through pre-boarding and ensure candidate and new-hire records are accurate across systems.

The team

People, Talent Acquisition; reports to the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition and Operations.

Stack

What you'll do

• Coordinate interview scheduling, rescheduling, tracking, and candidate communications across regions.
• Support executive and non-executive hiring, partnering with executive assistants and hiring managers.
• Manage global pre-boarding, including background checks, progress tracking, and start-date risk escalation.
• Maintain accurate candidate and hiring records in Ashby and Workday.
• Coordinate the transition from offer acceptance to the new hire’s first day.
• Apply hiring policies consistently and escalate exceptions.

What we're looking for

• 4+ years of experience in recruiting coordination, talent acquisition operations, HR operations, or a similar role.
• Hands-on experience with Workday or a comparable HRIS and familiarity with applicant tracking systems.
• Experience coordinating pre-boarding, onboarding, and background checks.
• Working knowledge of background check requirements across multiple countries.
• Strong cross-time-zone scheduling, prioritization, communication, judgment, and discretion.

Nice to have

• Experience with Ashby.
• Experience in crypto, fintech, or another regulated industry.
