What you'll do
- Lead, hire, mentor, and develop a team of engineers while contributing at a senior IC level.
- Own the architecture, delivery, and reliability of ERP integrations, microservices, and APIs.
- Migrate Oracle Cloud integrations to Airbnb’s in-house platform and expand its self-service capabilities.
- Build AI-assisted automations and MCP integrations.
- Partner with Finance, Procurement, and other teams to deliver integrations, automations, and reporting.
- Ensure reliable month-end financial integrations and reporting; contribute to monitoring and incident response.
What we're looking for
- 10+ years of software engineering experience building and operating production systems and integrations.
- Experience leading engineers as a manager or tech lead, with a commitment to career development.
- Strong ERP knowledge, including Finance processes such as R2R, P2P, AP, and AR.
- Proficiency in Java or Python for building microservices, APIs, and integrations.
- Experience using AI in development to take products from prototype to production, including LLMs, prompt engineering, or RAG.
- Strong relational database and SQL skills.
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration, influencing, and communication skills.
Nice to have
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud, OCI/PaaS, or Oracle reporting.
- Experience building AI agents and MCP integrations, preferably with Claude.
