Learning Experience (LX) organization
What you'll do
- Build and develop the LX organization and leadership team, including hiring, organizational design, performance management, and succession planning
- Guide LX leaders in improving learning experiences and delivering high-impact work
- Allocate resources, set expectations, and hold leaders accountable for results
- Strengthen product capabilities, including specs, roadmaps, product reviews, and AI-enabled experimentation
- Represent LX in cross-functional forums and build effective partnerships
What we're looking for
- Experience leading a multidisciplinary organization through directors and senior leaders in a fast-moving, product-led environment
- Track record of developing leaders and delivering results through teams
- Grounding in learning design, learning science, or a related discipline
- Experience shaping consumer products, including using AI to accelerate development or content generation
- Strong executive communication, judgment, and ability to influence senior leaders
- Able to work from or relocate to New York, NY or Pittsburgh, PA on a hybrid schedule (4+1)
Nice to have
- Experience building AI-powered learning experiences or systems for generating and evaluating learning content at scale
- Experience at a founder-led or rapidly scaling consumer technology company
- Significant experience using Duolingo and ideas for improving it
