What you'll do
- Lead, hire, coach, and support the career growth of the enterprise web design team
- Set team priorities and guide projects from brief through launch
- Provide hands-on art direction across imagery, illustration, typography, motion, and layout
- Partner with marketers and cross-functional teams on messaging, launches, and web priorities
- Work with engineering to ensure high-quality implementation and web performance
- Use analytics and experiments to improve results while preserving creative judgment
- Present and explain design decisions to stakeholders, and manage external design partners
What we're looking for
- Deep web design experience, including direct management of web or creative designers
- Portfolio demonstrating strong craft, storytelling, and a clear point of view
- Strong art direction and visual storytelling skills
- Experience designing complex, multi-audience websites, ideally for technical or enterprise products
- Ability to make complex products distinctive and easy to understand
- Comfort holding a high quality bar under tight timelines and making tradeoffs
- Strong collaboration, feedback, and communication skills
- Understanding of web performance, data, and experimentation
Nice to have
- Experience at a company known for high-quality websites for technical products
- Familiarity with enterprise buyer journeys and conversion design
- Experience with SEO, analytics, and growth experimentation
